I keep looking for a doll that has the same color hair and eyes as my daughter.I thought AGOT25 would do, but she just does not.Her hair is much darker than I had hoped.

I am pretty sure I will need a doll with Hazel eyes to be a good match. Are the hazel eyes pretty dark? My daughter's eyes are dark, but I am not sure if I could call them dark brown... they have quite a bit of green to them too.Maybe light brown eyes would work?

Is AGOT21 the only doll with hazel eyes? Were there ever any others? I wonder if I could remove her wig, dye it, and put it back on.Has anyone tried dying a wig?

I would like to find one to rewig with a med. or possibly light brown wig.

The closest current doll seems to be AGOT13.... but she has bangs.

Do you think AG will ever take special orders? I wish they did.I would love to have a doll that matched my little Mae.

There's a good picture of AGT21's eyes on this page
The eyes are quite green, I think.

Your daughter's hair will be darkening as she gets older - so AGT21 isn't probably a good match for hair colour. Shoot - you might have to dye her hair!!!

The easier alternative is to rewig the doll.

Wow, Thank you so much. She is so beautiful!

Her eyes are quite a bit more green than I expected, so this really helps me.

Mae's eyes ae brown with a lot of green in them. These look close.I bet I could go with hazel or brown either one and be close enough, maybe.

I have tried to get a good picture of her eye color, but it is hard because she is always on the go. There are some closer pics here, but her eyes look almost grey in most of them them. http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/n/noramaemaxine/

Thank you for your help.

If you want a doll that closely resembles your daughter, you might want to try a My Twinn doll. They are really pretty, and more poseable than the AG dolls. I got one for Christmas and I love her .

Mae is so cute! Her eyes look more brown to me. I have greenish-hazel eyes and my DH had blue-green eyes. Our 3 childrens' eyes changed color between blue and green for about 5-6 years. My two sons ended up with green eyes and my daughter has blue-green eyes just like her dad. No one ended up with hazel eyes like mine. There is a good chance your DD's eyes are still changing.

I got a MyTwinn for my daughter when she was 6 years old. She is 10 years old now and the MyTwinn doesn't look much like her at all anymore. She has put it in the closet and only plays with her AGs. The MyTwinns have really pretty faces, but for some reason, my DD thinks the AGs are a lot more fun to play with.

American_Mommy, I have the EXACT same problem!! My baby girl has dark grey/brown/green eyes and medium brown hair. I can't put my finger on what color her eyes are! I couldn't find a doll that looked like her, and I was so disappointed! You know which doll I settled for? Molly. Her hair was right, but her grey eyes are too light. I may have to keep trying! I also thought of getting AG#21 and rewigging her, but that sounded like an expensive proposition!! What to do???

I also caught the AG bug as soon as my girl was born. I set out to buy her an AG doll, and she is barely three months old, and I already own 4 and looking for more! What is wrong with me?? Anyway, here's my little punkin. Mae is absolutely beautiful!! Congratulations!!
